The Government of Russia will allocate more than 36 billion rubles to allowances to single-parent parents who raise children aged 8 to 17 years. About this at a government meeting on Thursday, June 24, said Prime Minister Mikhail Mishoustin, reports TASS.
According to him, the amount of benefits is equal to half of the subsistence minimum for a child in a particular region, on average it is 5.5 thousand rubles. You can issue payments from July 1, including through the Public Services portal and a special form.
Premier noted that by the end of the year the money should receive parents more than a million children. These means of power are considered as targeted assistance to those who found themselves in a complex material situation. Mishoustin asked the head of the Mintruda Anton Kotyakov to inform citizens that they are eligible for payments.
A week ago, Mishoustin said that additional 55 billion rubles would send for parents to parents of children aged 3 to 7 years, that is, there will be wages on a quarter.
Meanwhile, during the discussion at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (PMEF-2021), Kotyakov said that 82 percent of the number of poor in Russia falls on families with children.
