German Chancellor Angela Merkel called on to organize a meeting of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin with the leaders of the European Union member countries. It is reported by Financial Times.
According to the publication, the proposal of the German side supported the French leader Emmanuel Macron. Berlin and Paris hoped that the European Union would be ready to interact with Moscow on issues of mutual interest.
