In the third assistant to the captain of the Russian trawler “Amur” Pavel Dobryansky in Japan, a criminal case was brought after a collision with schooner. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Consulate General of Russia in Sapporo.
“Last night, the prosecutor’s office reported to us that the criminal case was initiated. Within 20 days a consequence,” they told in the representative office. The case is headed by articles to articles 129 (“negligence”) and 211 (“improper ship management”) of the Japanese Criminal Code.
The first article implies a punishment of up to three years of imprisonment or a fine of up to 500 thousand yen (330 thousand rubles). The second is to seven years of imprisonment or a fine of no more than a million yen (568 thousand rubles).
June 9 reported that Dobryansky was sent to the SIZO. Russian Consul Roman Kolesnik noted that the representation was convinced of the normal well-being assistant captain. Dobryansky was suspected of violations during the performance of official activities that caused the death of a person, as well as in violations related to the process of maneuvering the vehicle.
The Russian ship “Amur” with a crew of 23 people on May 26 went from Korsakov to Mombetsu with the cargo of the crab. 23 kilometers from the end point of the path there was a clash with the Japanese fishing chungy “Dai Hati Hokko Maru”. As a result of the incident, three of five fishermen in the Japanese vessel died. On “Amur” no one was injured.
