Germany began issuing digital certificates of vaccination, reports TASS with reference to the head of the German Ministry of Health of Jens Schapan.
Digital evidence will be an application in a smartphone called COVPASS. Also, citizens will be able to use the already existing CWA application. At the expense of the application as evidence people can carry with them a certificate of confirmation of vaccination.
Germany launched the issuance of digital certificates of vaccination even earlier than planned – June 10 instead of the 14th. Grafted citizens will be able to use the application in restaurants, in cultural and other events.
Earlier, the European Parliament approved the introduction of a “vaccine passport” – a digital certificate that confirms the vaccination against coronavirus.
