Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday, June 9, approved the launch of the first stage of the Amur Gas Processing Plant (GPZ), located in the city of Free, reports TASS.
It is clarified that the Russian leader took part in the solemn ceremony of launching the first two technological lines of the plant in video format.
In the course of the event, Putin stressed that the launch of the first phase of the GPZ is a significant event. According to him, over time, the plant will come to full capacity and will become “one of the largest enterprises in the world for the processing of natural gas and the largest manufacturing of helium”, which is in demand in many key industries.
