Pumping Russian oil to Poland on the “Friendship” pipeline has been stopped for four days due to regulatory work in the Belarusian site. This was stated by the adviser to the President of Transneft, the spokesman for Igor Demin, reports Interfax.
According to him, “GomelTransNeft” will begin work at noon on June 9, and will complete after 96 hours. Demin did not inform any additional details.
In the first half of last year, Minsk against the background of the conflict with Moscow because of the new oil contract discussed with Warsaw reversing deliveries of “friendship” from Poland. Subsection on this topic ceased after Russia and Belarus agreed on oil prices.
After the presidential election, the relations of Minsk and Warsaw deteriorated sharply. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko accused the neighboring state in financing protests and desire to seize part of the territory of the republic.
In May, the Belarusian authorities planted in Minsk the Ryanair European Airline, which followed Athens and Vilnius, who flew the oppositionist Roman Protasevich.
