The European Parliament approved the introduction of a “vaccine passport” – a digital certificate that confirms the vaccination against coronavirus. This is stated on the European Parliament website.
The package includes several documents, the absolute majority of deputies voted for each of them. Now the decision must go through the procedure of technical design.
The document should be information about the vaccination from COVID-19 and the negative PCR test (or about the suffering disease).
The system wants to run on July 1, now it works in test mode. RIA Novosti notes that such a certificate has received more than a million Europeans.
In late May, in Europe, they were offered to cancel restrictions on movement between countries for grafted tourists. Member of the European Commission on Justice Didier Reinders explained that we are talking about “fully vaccinated” people – those who received the second dose of the drug over 14 days ago.
