Both managers noted the importance of the long and fruitful history of Russian-French cooperation in the field of space, and also expressed hope for the continuation of constructive interaction in all areas of space activities representing mutual interest.
During the negotiations, the head of Roscosmos and CNES discussed the prospects for Russian-French cooperation in the field of operation of the Soyuz Complex in the Gwiang Space Center, and also touched upon issues of possible French participation in the Russian-Chinese initiative to create an international scientific lunar station.
The parties agreed that, according to the results of the issues discussed today, the CNES will initiate a detailed discussion with the involvement of all interested Russian and French organizations.
