Student sewed clothes in garage and hit list of “the youngest rich”

The student began to sew clothes in the parent garage, created his brand and hit the list of “the youngest rich” according to the Sunday Times edition. The corresponding material publishes Mirror.

Ben Francis (Ben Francis) was 19 years old when he asked his relatives if he could open a clothing store in the garage near the house. At that time, he studied at the university, and at night he worked in Pizzahut Pizzeria. At that time, the young man has already developed two fitness applications for the iPhone – Fat Loss Abs Guide and iPhysique – and parallel selling food additives to postpone money for the implementation of his idea about creating a sportswear brand.

At first, the young man asked his grandmother to train his sewing skill, and then bought a stencil printer on pending funds, a sewing machine and began to properly create things. According to the hero of the material, he disappointed the quality of sportswear in stores, so he decided to independently develop equipment that would arrange it in all respects.

In 2012, Francis united with a school friend Lewis Morgan, and they developed a Gymshark brand. At the moment, this online store sells “comfortable” and elastic sportswear without seams. “I manually sewed, printed the goods, packaged them and put in the package. Even the shipment was engaged independently,” the businessman admitted.

Francis and Morgan began to attend bodybuilding exhibitions to increase the recognition of their brand. They also collaborated with athletes and famous personalities in the field of sports, which helped them increase the number of buyers.

In 2013, co-founders presented GymShark products at Bodypower Fitness Exhibition in Birmingham. After the event is completed, the photo of a sports suit from their ruler has become a viral on Facebook. In 30 minutes, buyers repented all the models of this outfit, which brought profit in the amount of 30 thousand pounds sterling (3.1 million rubles).

Now 28-year-old Francis owns more than 70 percent of the company’s shares, the value of which is 700 million pounds of sterling (almost 73 billion rubles). Moreover, the entrepreneur has become one of the most wealthy young people of Great Britain and hit the list of “the youngest rich” edition of Sunday Times.

In February, the former homeless has opened a business in Instagram and became a millionaire. As a child, 25-year-old Branden Condy (Branden Condy) from Virginia was forced to live in poverty. These memories have become a push for him to decide on the launch of their business. Later, the hero of the material founded the Marketing Agency called Branden Condy LLC, which monthly brings him an income of 25 thousand dollars (about two million rubles).
