The United States deliberately curled the visa service of Russians, seeking togging nervousness and discontent in Russia. About this in an interview with Lente.ru, the deputy head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Ryabkov.
Ryabkov reminded that even before the introduction of Russia, restrictions against American diplomas are already frozen the work of consular agencies in the country, thereby actually ceasing the issuance of visas to Russian citizens. “This is part of the common policy of Washington in the Russian direction. We are looking through this policy to see. This is an element of continuing rude interference in our internal affairs,” the diplomat stressed.
Ryabkov noted that the Russian consulates are still doing everything possible for consular services to Russia, USA and third countries. But because of the closure of all Russian credentials on the west coast of the United States, they are all forced to go to the east coast or to Houston to get the necessary services. “This is abnormally and incorrect and contradicts the logic of civilized communication of states and intermediary contacts,” the diplomat emphasized.
He said that the Russian side “Dozens of times” offered the United States to mutually “reset” restrictions against diplomatic confedets of each other, but did not receive a response. Nevertheless, Russia will continue their efforts in this direction, said Ryabkov. “After all, we are talking about the normal communication between states and citizens, in favor of what we have always performed and will advocate,” the deputy head of the Foreign Ministry.
From May 12, the US Embassy in Moscow ceased to issue visas and reduced the list of consular services. Now the embassy will work only for American citizens. The diploma is reported that such changes are associated with the decision of the Russian authorities to ban dip-confinement to hire Namers.
