Tinkoff offered a new way to combat telephone fraudsters

Tinkoff Bank proposed to create a system of accounting and analysis of telephone fraud (Suatm). With it, you can analyze incoming calls to search for operators serving telephone fraudsters, writes RBC.

Unfair operators conduct calls from attackers from submenuble numbers to bank customers. According to the plan, if the client informed the bank about a fraudulent call, the financial organization should transfer this information to Suatm. After that, the system learns which operator initiated a call, contact him with a question, initiated this call himself or took it from another operator.

If the first option, this means that the operator does not control the use of license plate capacity and, possibly, serves sweat. This is a new way to combat telephone frauds, since there is no similar system in the country. Tinkoff Bank offers are in work, the process of forming a working group is underway.

Earlier in Sberbank, a victory was called over a telephone fraud in Russia. According to the deputy chairman of Stanislav Kuznetsov, it can happen already in the current year. In his opinion, it is necessary to work at the level of cellular operators. Then, he is sure, the number of fraudulent calls will decrease immediately by 80 percent.
