President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko revealed the content of his negotiations with Russian colleague Vladimir Putin, which took place at the end of May in Sochi. This is on Tuesday, June 1, BelTA reports.
“For noise, we, of course, have done a lot – and in shape, and in content,” said Lukashenko about his meeting with Putin.
The Belarusian leader said that the agenda of the negotiations was determined for a long time, and first of all included trade and economic relations. The presidents discussed the supply of oil and gas, compensation for losses from Russian tax maneuver, cooperation in the customs, tax and military technical spheres.
“On the tax maneuver we found a junction. Even we are not, but governments, we simply agreed on and approved. We will continue to conduct a dialogue and negotiate,” said Lukashenko.
In the negotiations were also raised topics such as confrontation with sanctions, the resumption of airfares between countries, the detention of the ex-commander of NEXTA Roman Protasevich and his girls, Russians Sophia Sappa.
Earlier, the spokesman for the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov said that the question of the detained Russian woman was raised on Putin’s initiative.
