Among the locations where the 5G test network is available, also Palace Square, the area of the Gazprom Arena Stadium, the Street Italian and the Art Park, the Lenpolygrafmash Technopark and the Botanical Garden, several other locations of St. Petersburg, including Kronstadt.
As follows from the message, the use of data-traffic in the pilot network is not charged, is not limited by volume and speed, including when using a smartphone as Wi-Fi access points and operation in file sharing networks. It is specified that smartphones supporting Band N79 in a 4.4-5 gigahertz band can work in the MTS pilot network of the fifth generation.
