According to representatives of the retailer, the basis of the new brand concept has become “positive energy, joy and inspiration.” Director for Commerce and Marketing “Ribbons” Dmitry Bogod clarified that when developing a new concept, the company tried to display significant changes that took place in it. The new sunflower became “lighter, modern and Diditil-Friendli.”
Earlier in May, the Network announced the purchase of Bill Russia for 215 million euros. After the purchase, the Bill Russia brand will be destroyed. All network hypermarkets will be transferred under the “Ribbon” brand, and their logistics infrastructure integrates into a common network.
At the end of March 2021, the tape ran 254 hypermarket and 140 supermarkets in 89 cities of Russia.
Previously, a competitor “Ribbons” announced the rebranding – the company X5 Retail Group, managing the sales networks “Pyaterochka”, “Crossroads” and “Carousel”. The new logo of the group will be a green leaf.
