According to the experience of recruiters, also among the most common lies – incorrect information about the experience of work (37 percent) and official duties (35 percent). About 24 percent of employers believe that applicants often embellish the level of ownership of software. The distortion of personal data and the level of owning a foreign language called 18 and 16 percent, respectively.
Incorrect information on additional education and the presence of awards, seven percent of recruiters noted, and the inaccuracies in the main formation of the applicant stated four percent. Only six percent of personnel managers did not come across unreliable information in resume.
The more the company, the more often the employers doubt the veracity of the description of official duties, is stated in the study. Employers from the banking sector are more often skeptical of information in the summary.
