Foreign Ministry announced discrepancy between Putin’s agenda and Biden

Agenda of US President Joseph Biden and his Russian colleague Vladimir Putin do not coincide. The Deputy Head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Ryabkov said about their discrepancy on the eve of the meeting of two leaders. This is reported by TASS.

“The agenda of the United States and the Russian Federation do not coincide, but we are traditionally willing to respond to any formulations from the American side. Unfortunately, the counter readiness is much less and less,” leads the agency of the word diplomat.

Ryabkov also added that the American side follows the coming days to wait from Moscow “signals that will be uncomfortable for them,” but noted that it does not mean the meeting of the first persons of states.

Previously, Biden spoke about his intentions to discuss with Putin the topic of respect for human rights. “I will meet with President Putin a few weeks later in Geneva. It is clear that we will not allow you to violate these rights [person],” the American leader said.

May 26 in the Kremlin shared expectations from meeting two presidents. According to the official representative of Dmitry Peskov, Russia is not inclined to expect that the first meeting of state leaders will allow for understanding of deep disagreement.

Meeting of the Presidents of Russia and the United States will be held on June 16 in Geneva.
