Freezing of prices in Russia recognized successful

Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov recognized the temporary freezing of prices in Russia on sugar and sunflower oil is successful. The words of the official leads TASS.

“[Price Stabilization Agreements] Certainly worked. There is a problem of exiting this situation: it is for each market for each market,” Belousov said.

According to him, manufacturers and retailers are going to hold prices for sugar at the current level, even after June 1, when the term of the current Agreement is over, – “Because they are sufficient to understand the consequences.”

Agreement on stabilization of prices for sugar and sunflower oil between the state, manufacturers and trading networks was concluded at the end of last year amid prices for these goods. Then the president Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustine were paid attention to the situation.

Initially, the agreement was calculated until April, but subsequently its validity period was extended until June 1.
