On the territory of the research center named after M.V. Keldysh (Roscosmos State Corporation) held a working meeting of representatives of the youth council of the Center with colleagues from the Institute of Applied Mathematics named after M.V. Keldysh of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Both enterprises are named after one outstanding scientist and ideologist of the Soviet Space Program – Mstislav Vsevolodovich Keldysh, whose life was closely intertwined with these institutions.
During the meeting, issues of functioning of youth associations at enterprises and the further development of bilateral interaction were discussed. Young scientists of the Institute of Applied Mathematics were able to learn more about the works held in the center of Keldysh and on its stands, ask their questions, and also made a common photo with the legendary Katyusha.
Employees IPM told colleagues about their own experience and achievements in the conduct of accurate and high-performance calculations on hydro-gas-dynamics, low-plate plasma physics, as well as the optimal trajectory parameters of interplanetary space missions. As a result of the productive and lively discussion, colleagues exchanged experience in the considered issues.
a useful result was the preliminary arrangements, among which the possibility of using supercomputer technologies by IPM to carry out the calculations of the electrical market engines developed by the Keldysh Center in order to optimize them and improve efficiency. It was decided to develop work in this direction.
