At the same time, the economist believes that “you should not wait for all working pensioners to restore the incomplete indexation for five years. Two relative to the soft option are possible: indexation will be paid or not fully, or not all categories of workers’ pensioners.”
Pensions working retirees ceased to raise back in 2016. The reason for this was called the economy of the budget of the Pension Fund. In December 2020, President Vladimir Putin stated that it was necessary to find money for the indexation. The head of state noted that the authorities think how to solve the issue.
On April 5, the Press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov said that no decisions about indexing pensions to working retirees had not yet been accepted. At the same time, according to him, “the relevant proposals are already formulated.”
