Putin and Lukashenko agreed on State Credit and opening of new flights

Russian President Vladimir Putin and its Belarusian colleague Alexander Lukashenko agreed to transfer the second part of the Tranche on a state loan, which Moscow provided Minsk in 2020, as well as the opening of new flights. It is reported by the Telegram channel of the press service of the Belarusian leader “Pool of the First”.

It is argued that the issue of granting the second part of the loan “resolved finally”. In general, the queue, Belavia will be able to increase the number of flights not only to Moscow, but also other Russian cities. Other details on the results of the meeting of the heads of state are not yet given.

Russia allocated Belarusian credit in the amount of one and a half billion dollars in September 2020. Its first of 500 million dollars was received by Minsk at the end of December. One of the terms of the transaction was the requirement to pay off from the amount provided by the debts on previous borrowings, which Lukashenko requested from the Russian authorities.

Putin’s negotiations and Lukashenko began on May 28 in the Sochi Residence of the Russian leader of the Bocharov Creek. The first meeting lasted for five hours. During this time, the heads of state discussed the partnership in the trade and economic, energy and cultural and humanitarian spheres.
