Russian producers of children’s toys will discuss with the Ministry of Industry, pricing issues in the industry. This was announced by the head of the Association of Enterprises of the Children’s Goods Industry (Aidt) Antonina Citsuin in a conversation with “Izvestia”.
According to her, the organization will offer the authority to subsidize manufacturers of raw materials for their products. We are talking about materials such as plastic, wood, paper, cardboard, metal and fabric. Mera will allow toy manufacturers not to raise the price of goods.
Tsitsulina noted that by now the cost of materials for making toys jumped 30-70 percent depending on their species. Currently, retail sells goods that were manufactured and purchased last year. New toys made from materials at a higher cost may appear in retail in the fall. Global manufacturers stated that they can adjust their prices.
Earlier it was reported that the digital marking of relatively cheap goods would lead to the rise in price of their cost and affect consumers. According to the General Manager of the Henkel division in Russia and the CIS Sergey Bykovsky, any measures related to the application of additional labeling will lead to the rise in the cost of production processes.
