The European Commission has developed a plan for economic assistance to Belarus and is ready to convey the country about three billion euros, provided that the country will be headed by a new leader, writes RBC.
It is argued that Brussels intends to allocate these funds for the implementation of political and economic reforms in the country. Support will be provided with the participation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the European Investment Bank (EIB), the World Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
Pre-EU plan was divided into four main stages, including the restoration of the country’s economy, providing support for structural reforms and raising the competitiveness of Minsk, the direction of funds to the environmental, digital transformation and infrastructure of the state, as well as strengthening political relations with the country.
