Alternative to the overloaded Suez Channel can be the Northern Sea Path (SMP). This was told by the head of the Ministry of Justocution of Russia Alexey Chekundkov, writes RIA Novosti.
The largest Asian countries consider the SMP as a transport corridor between Asia and Europe, he noted. Offering its replacement to the Suez Channel, Chekuchkov noted that the path in the SMP is 40 percent in short, and in open water for seven days faster.
