The crew members of the only submarine of Poland’s Navy criticized the fleet command and reported the deplorable state of the submarine. It is reported by the “Military Review” portal with reference to the Polish edition of Gazeta Wyborcza.
It is reported that Polish sailors with the Orzeł Orzeł submarine sent an open letter to several editions of local media. Including the message received Gazeta Wyborcza. The letter states that the seafarers of the submarines are forced to appeal in this form due to the fact that they fear for their lives: “We risk our lives in the senseless marketing campaign of the Polish government.” From the text it follows that each exit to the sea may end the tragedy, since the Poland Navy is in the partial decomposition stage, the ORZEOU is in a deplorable state and gives leaks.
Sailors say that during recent maneuvers there was an incident, due to which the crew almost died: “problems are associated with the technical condition of ballast tanks. Only miraculously managed to emerge.” In the written military, the message states that even the communication system on submarine does not work as it should: “In general, it is strange that the boat in such a state goes to the sea.”
“We do not want to divide the fate of the crew of the” Kursk “submarine, as well as the fate of the Argentine submarine” San Juan “or Indonesian Nanggala-402,” said signatoried sailors. They noticed that they were ready to give their lives for the country, but not because of the “prissthood and whims of the authorities.”
In his problems, military sailors accuse the command and the authorities of Poland and noted that their actions “led to a situation in which the life of submariners is at risk.” It is noted that the letter was sent to the media without coordination with the command.
Orzeł – Related to the project 877E submarine. It was built at the Shipbuilding Enterprise “Red Sormovo” in Gorky (now – Nizhny Novgorod) and commissioned in April 1986.
At the end of April, it became known that the only Poland submarine that was in service with the naval forces stopped shooting due to problems of torpedo devices. All six 533-millimeter torpedo devices of submarines failed because they did not use them for a long time.
