Former Czech diplomat Stanislav Suo expressed hope for the normalization of relations between the Czech Republic and Russia and hoped in this “Russian generosity”. Sui said this in an interview with Haló Noviny.
Former diplomat believes that the current disagreements of countries are abnormally and someone are consistent: there are no evidence of the involvement of the Russian Federation to explosions in Vrbetice, and the corresponding accusations are not supported.
At the same time, recent expulsion of diplomats from solidarity with an ally – an unprecedented step even for the time of the Cold War, indicates a suge. According to him, the crisis in the relations of the two countries threatens economic damage, and it is worth stopping it.
May 26 it became known that the Czech Embassy in Moscow dismissed 71 Russian citizens as part of a reduction in the diplomission.

The relations between Moscow and Prague were complicated after the Czech Republic accused Russian special services in involvement in the explosions in the warehouse of ammunition in Vrbetice, as a result of which two people were killed. The explosions occurred at the end of 2014. As a result, 18 diplomats were sent from the Czech Republic, whom Prague suspeses in work on the special services. Moscow, in response, declared 20 employees of the Czech embassy by Non Grata. Later it became known that Russia and the Czech Republic equal the number of employees in the embassies.
