The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia (TPP) proposed to introduce a progressive tax scale and raise fees for part of Russians. For the highest paid employees, the tax burden may increase to 45 percent, writes TASS.
At the same time, the CCI initiates the zeroing of taxes and fees from the wage fund for those whose salary is less than 13.5 thousand rubles. The organization note that it is necessary to reduce the tax burden on the business and more equitable income distribution. The CCI says that the increase in taxes will affect one percent of Russians.
The organization also believes that the transition at a rate of 15 percent of NDFL is not sufficient. The progressive scale of taxation is valid in Russia from 2021. Increased – 15 percent instead of 13 – the NDFL bet pay people whose income exceeds five million rubles a year, but only with the amount of exceeding.
Earlier it was reported that most Russians, 52 percent, were satisfied with the current level of taxes, describing it as sufficient. Excessive size called 36 percent.
In May, the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, President of the President in the Far Eastern Federal District (DFO), Yuri Trutnev proposed to increase taxes on dividends for enterprises that do not provide the growth of employee salaries at least at the inflation level.
