The Office of the Commissioner under the President of the Russian Federation on the protection of the rights of entrepreneurs Boris Titov proposes to prohibit the open sale of moonshine in Russia. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the report on the state of the Russian market of excisable goods.
In particular, it is noted that the handmade moonshine “is often produced for sale, and not use for personal needs.” Also, the quality of “products” is questioned, in which the indicators of harmful substances can multiply exceed the norm.
It is necessary to have tight regulation of the sale of moonshine, – summarized in the business ombudsman.
previously became known that the most popular requests for the sale of moonshine apparatuses in Lipetsk, Voronezh and Tula regions, Khakassia, Nenets and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous districts, as well as in Chukotka. In total, such requests are consistently interested in residents of 31 regions of the country.
In December 2020, it turned out that Komi, Chukotka, Udmurtia, Sakhalin and Magadan region were recognized as the most drinking regions of Russia in 2020. According to the study of the project “Sober Russia”, in the five most sober subjects of the country included Ingushetia, Chechnya, Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkaria and Karachay-Cherkessia. Moscow turned out to be at the 13th place of the rating of the most sober regions, St. Petersburg – on the 16th.
