President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko supported the idea of introducing responsibility for calls for sanctions against the country. It is reported by BelTA.
Lukashenko, commenting on this initiative at a meeting in parliament, stated that it should be done from a legal point of view. At the same time, the president stressed that if someone contributes such a proposal, it will be accepted. He also added that it would not be a Belarusian “know-how”, since examples of such legislation already exist in other countries, but very necessary for Belarus.
Earlier, Lukashenko called the export of national products to “traditional markets” – in an effective way to counteract Western sanctions. According to him, to cope with the consequences of economic restrictions from Europe, the Republic will be able to export to the regions where its products are in demand: Africa, India and China.
