A third of Russians explained revenge

A third of Russia’s population reported a decline in income during the coronavirus pandemic. On the results of a survey conducted by the Institute of Sociology of the Federal Research Sociological Center (FNISC) of the Russian Academy of Sciences, director of the Institute Mikhail Gorshkov, said TASS.

In 2020, 24.6 percent of Russians (36 million people) had an income below 60 percent of the median. Thus, almost a quarter of Russians can be attributed to the category of low-income.
