President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko postponed the statement, which was planning to do on May 25 due to the detention of the former Oppositional Telegram-channel NEXTA Roman Protasevich. It is reported by BelTA.

President Natalia Eismont spokesman said that on May 26, Lukashenko will meet with members of the Parliament and the Constitutional Commission, which suggested discussing topical issues. The meeting, which also invited members of the government and governors will be held in Parliament.

“So the statement that the president planned to do today will sound tomorrow in the oval hall of the parliament, after which there will be a discussion on a wide range of issues,” Eismont explained.
