President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko is waiting for a bitter payback for the incident with the Ryanair airline plane, which made a forced landing in Minsk for the sake of the arrest of the creator of the Telegram channel NEXTA Roman Protasevich. Such consequences of the actions of the Belarusian authorities pre-bank head of the FRG Khaiko Maas, reports Interfax on Tuesday, May 25.
“Each dictator who plays with such thoughts should be clear that it will be necessary to pay a bitter price for it … By vyslability, what Lukashenko did, do not surpass,” the head of the German Foreign Ministry said.

Earlier on May 25, German Chancellor Angela Merkel stated that the European Union Summit (EU) decided to expand economic sanctions against Belarus. Before that, the EU decided to prohibit Belarusian airlines to use the airspace of European countries and flights to the airports of EU countries. In addition, in France, Paris never recognizes the legitimacy of the last presidential elections in Belarus, the victory on which, according to official data, won Lukashenko.
May 23 in Minsk, the Ryanair aircraft, following the route Athens – Vilnius, was forced to land in Belarus due to the message of dispatchers about the blasting device laid on board. Then Protasevich and his girl, Russian Sofia Saprega, was detained.
In Belarus, the Ex-Glavreda NEXTA is accused of creating extremist formation and calls for mass riots after the presidential elections in August 2020. He may threate up to 15 years in prison. Information about the blasting device on board was not confirmed. Later, the Belarusian side stated that information on mining came on behalf of the Palestinian movement Hamas.
