US: refused to take nuclear status of North Korea

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken stated that the United States refused to take the nuclear status of North Korea. He told about this by ABC TV channel, his words leads “Moscow Komsomolets”.

Blinken noted that the administration of previous US presidents tried to solve this problem, but their attempts were unsuccessful. As a result, according to the head of the State Department, the North Korea Nuclear Program developed and became more dangerous.

He stressed that at the moment the United States actively studies the policy of North Korea and the previous administrations built relations with the country. Blinken also added that the United States is ready for a dialogue with the DPRK and await a response from Pyongyang.

Previously, the US State Department representative Jalina Porter told about several unsuccessful attempts by the American authorities to contact North Korea. Porter noted that the United States tried to contact the DPRK on several channels, including through New York, where at the UN headquarters there is a permanent representation of North Korea. However, the US administration did not receive a response from the North Korean side.
