Mandatory wearing masks will cancel in one European country

Hungary authorities will cancel the mandatory wearing masks in public places. This was stated by Prime Minister Viktor Orban, his words leads the Reuters agency.

According to the Hungarian premier, at these weekends the number of citizens of the country will reach 5 million people, after which the authorities will remove most of the restrictions. In particular, the curfew will cease to work in the country, meetings will be allowed to 500 people outdoors and weddings, where the number of guests does not exceed 200 people.

In total, about 9.7 million people live in Hungary. The country uses six different vaccines against coronavirus, including the Russian Preparation “Satellite V”. At the end of April, the Hungarian government published data on the safety and effectiveness of five of them. The Russian drug showed the best results in terms of security and efficiency among competitors: So, among 100,000 vaccinated “satellite V”, the average mortality rate was less than 7-32 times, and the number of COVID-19 infections is 2-7 times. Thus, the vaccine has demonstrated the best performance.

Previously, the US authorities allowed vaccinated citizens not to wear masks and not to abide by the social distance in the premises or on the street. At the same time, it was noted that the completed vaccination should adhere to the mask regime if the federal or territorial laws are required, as well as the rules of local business. Among other things, citizens of the specified category should continue to carry masks in public transport, at airports and train stations.
