Kaluga region has become the first contender for the construction of the TESLA plant in Russia. Governor Vladislav Shapsh in his Telegram-Channel suggested the Ilona mask to consider the region.
The American billionaire made a video of the Russian educational Marathon “New Knowledge”. Answering questions, he announced the randor official appearance of TESLA electric vehicles in the CIS countries, and also indicated that he considers Russia as a possible place to open production.

Commenting on this news, Shapsh said that the Kaluga region, where the car cluster has already been formed, is fully prepared for the construction of the TESLA plant.
Also during his speech, Mask gave a forecast for the technological future. He stated that all vehicles, except for missiles, will become electric, and automotive can control the autopilot.
