Dvorkovich revealed details of negotiations with a mask about Tesla in Russia

Former Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Chairman of the Skolkovo Foundation Arkady Dvorkovich disclosed details of negotiations with the American entrepreneur and founder of the company Tesla Ilona Mask on the construction of the corporate plant of electric vehicles. It is reported by RBC.

According to Dvorkovich, information on the possibility of opening a mask of one of Tesla plants in Russia did not surprise for the authorities, since these issues are discussed with his colleagues for two years. “We expected something like this may happen,” he said on the program “What does this mean?”.

The Chairman of the Skolkovo Foundation noted that the colleagues of the mask were considering the development of business development in Russia, “analyze how the market is growing, as the rules of the game are changing, which political statements are made in terms of the development of electric vehicles.” At the same time, Russia is considered in Tesla as a large and attractive market. Dvorkovich added that, subject to the creation of the project, the platform for him will be chosen in the Central Federal District, closer to the largest cities of the country.

Earlier on Friday, May 21, the Ministry of Industry and Commission called to Russia of the American entrepreneur and founder of the company Tesla Ilona Mask to discuss the construction of the corporate plant of electric vehicles after the billionaire spoke on the video of the Russian educational marathon “New Knowledge”. Answering questions, he announced the randor official appearance of TESLA electric vehicles in the CIS countries, and also indicated that he considers Russia as a possible place to open production.

The Kaluga region became the first contender for the construction of the TESLA plant, and then for the plant in the region, the mask promised benefits and power of Udmurtia. In turn, the governor of the Moscow region Andrei Vorobiev called on the American entrepreneur to choose the Moscow region.
