President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko called Minsk “Nerezinov” and called on the city authorities not to repeat the experience of Moscow. It is reported by Interfax-West.
Lukashenko at the meeting opposed the expansion of the Belarusian capital and an increase in the number of its inhabitants, which exceeded two million people.
“We agreed with you: it is impossible to stretch Minsk today, it is not rubber. We are doing worse for future tenants who come here and want to live here. And especially for Minsk citizens now,” said the president.
Lukashenko complained that traffic jams and gaspace appeared in Minsk.
“Moreover, we will be tightened from the most distant corners of the country in Minsk people. We will repeat the experience of Russia – Moscow. For this another city, it would be possible to praise that housing is building, growing, but not minsk. For Minsk it is not The trend we would like to be fixed, “said the Belarusian leader.
Last year, Lukashenko stated that in Minsk there is no need to build a lot of housing, otherwise you can “repeat the sad experience of Moscow.” He was frightened that the Belarusian capital could turn into a huge conglomerate, where people like cockroaches. “Is this life?” – Noted Lukashenko.
