Updated Windows 10 will receive the visual features of the canceled operating system from Microsoft. This is reported by the edition of Windows Latest.
According to sources, Microsoft has begun to test a new interface that should debut in a large-scale update of Sun Valley (“Solar Valley”). The most noticeable elements include a revised center of action and application windows with rounded corners. The new interface is not available by default for third-party developers, however can be activated in Windows 10 beta.
According to disclosed data, a new action center will appear in the popular operating system, which is located in the lower right corner of the desktop. It is called by clicking and can be rolled through the movement of the cursor down. Such an option was added to Windows 10x: It was assumed that users would turn and deploy the center of action by gestures by moving the laptop touchscreen.
In the beta version of Windows 10, floating elements of the system were also added. For example, dialog boxes and menus are not located close to the taskbar, and slightly higher.
Public release of the new version of Windows called “Solar Valley” or 21H2 is expected in the fall.
Previously, the sources reported that Microsoft decided to abandon the release of a repeatedly deferred Windows 10X OS. The company believes that the new OS has a lot of common with the classic Windows 10, and the simultaneous availability of identical products in the ruler will mislead the user.
