Chubais believes that it is necessary to actively develop hydrogen energy, but this task is comparable to the industrialization in the past. “For our country, this is a challenge of a tremendous scale. This challenge of this scale, which is comparable, perhaps only with industrialization … For me, this is not the fourth industrial revolution – this is Individualization number 2,” he said.

He said that the country has a huge potential for the production of solar energy. According to him, it can be especially important for the southern part of Russia.
