Companies from United States returned world domination

The International Consulting Company Boston Consulting Group conducted a study (there is at the disposal of “tape.ru”) and amounted to the rating of world companies in terms of total joint-stock returns (TSR). The authors managed to find out that as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, world domination returned the company from the United States.

The TSR indicator is folded from two parameters: the growth of the company’s shares and dividends paid by it. This year, BCG analyzed TSR leading global companies in different sectors of the economy over the past five years, starting from 2016.

The first place in the global ranking was taken by the Canadian software developer for online stores Shopify. Its TSR over the past five years equals 113 percent. In total, the company’s total ranking from the United States accounts for 41 percent, among the leaders of individual industries – 37 percent. Both results are the best among all countries.
