The promising Hyperzvuk Rocket Long-Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW) of the US Army, launched from London, is capable of hitting Moscow during military conflict in Moscow, says American magazine Popular Mechanics.
“from Europe, let’s say, from London, LRHW may affect the goals in the east, right up to Moscow,” the publication says.
Nevertheless, the publication assures that new weapons will perform “the deterrent means that ideally reduces the likelihood of conflict.”
Magazine also notes that LRHW, launched from the positions located in the Pacific, will be able to hit targets in China.
Popular Mechanics, referring to the Breaking Defense edition, reminds that the LRHW range of the US Army will exceed 2775 kilometers.
In August 2020, the Army of the United States during the online briefing showed the launch, flight and defeat of the target rocket with the hypersonic planning unit Common Hypersonic Glide Body (C-HGB), which will receive LRHW.
The appropriate tests conducted by the naval forces (Navy) and the US Army took place in March of the same year.
