The desire to cooperate the President of the Association “Franco-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry” Emmanuel Kida told at a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. Kide stressed that promising areas for joint work of the parties are the development and implementation of high technologies and innovation in enterprises.

Lavrov, in turn, called France by the “important foreign partner” of Russia. He noted that the Russian side is interested in attracting French investments in the economy and the further development of relations between countries.

It is reported that the meeting also discussed the relations of Russia with the European Union and the prospects for the future business interaction of Moscow and Paris.

In April, the Director-General of the French-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Pavel Shinsky said that 2021 declared the “cross” year of interregional cooperation between Russia and France. In this regard, a number of joint projects in the field of economics, education, health care, culture will be organized.
