Analyst calculated that the billionaires from the Forbes list accounts for about 35 percent of the entire size of Russian GDP. The nearest pursuer for this indicator – Sweden – billionaires own the state of about 30 percent. In third place were billionaires from India and the United States (19 percent).
May 3 became known that the owner and president of the Mining and Metallurgical Company Norilsk Nickel Vladimir Potanin turned out to be the richest person in Russia. Its condition has 32 billion dollars, while it is noted that from the beginning of 2021 he lost $ 622 million, and earned a little more than two billion.
Previously, the most rich man in the country was called the Chairman of the Board of Directors of PJSC Severstal Alexei Mordashov with a state of 29.1 billion dollars.
