Google will help deploy satellite Internet Ilona Mask

Google agreed with Spacex on the use of Starlink satellite Internet. It is reported by Edition The Verge.

Ilona Mask will provide access to the satellite Internet for corporate clients of the Google Cloud service. As part of the SPACEX Agreement, Starlink terminals will install the Google data centers worldwide. It is specified that thanks to the satellite Internet, Corporation’s clients will be able to quickly transfer data to remote regions.

Spacex will install the first terminal and will help deploy communications in Google’s data center in New Albany, Ohio. Google Cloud clients will be able to take advantage of the new service by the end of the year. In Google, promised to reveal additional details of the agreement and the development plans later.

“Applications and services working in the cloud can be transformed for organizations, regardless of whether they work in a strongly integrated network or remote environment,” said the Vice-President on Google Cloud URR Helzle infrastructure (URS Hölzle). At present, Spacex launched 1625 satellites, 1550 of which are in the Earth orbit. In 2015, Ilona Mask attracted investments in the amount of one billion dollars from Google and the Fidelity Venture Foundation.
