May 13 Lukashenko stated that Belarusians had a request for change in social and political life. He promised to reflect their aspirations during the constitutional reform and called the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly, which was not allowed by representatives of the opposition, “People’s Eve”.
Earlier, the politician promised to conduct early presidential elections in the country only if they pass in parallel to the United States. “Let the Americans prescribe early elections, and we will appoint elections in Belarus on the same day,” said the head of state.
