Mishoustin told about scale of benefits for children

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishoustin during the State Duma with a report on the activities of the government spoke about the scale of payments for children, reports RIA Novosti.

According to him, the benefits for children aged 3 to 7 years in 2020 were scheduled for 4.5 million families, and payments for children under 3 years old receive more than 1.5 million families. Total payments affected 28 million children.

At the same time, the head of government stressed that the rules for the provision of funds have improved. The help has become more addressable and adequate. If the family is in a more difficult situation, then the payment may reach 75 or even 100 percent of the subsistence minimum for a child.

A total of 2.5 trillion rubles left for additional measures to support citizens. A total of some money received every second family in the country.

Last week, Mishoustin instructed Mintruda and the Ministry of Finance to present new approaches to creating a holistic system for supporting low-income families with children.
