Address Row menu will be deleted in Firefox 89

In the developed project Proton the upgraded user interface, which will be offered in the release of Firefox 89 scheduled for June 1, implemented another cardinal change that violates the usual way to work with the browser. As part of the redesign, it was decided to delete the “…” menu embedded in the address bar, through which you can add a bookmark, send a link to Pocket, consolidate the tab, work with the clipboard and initiate the sending of the material by email. The specified menu was added to Firefox 57 and for three years it became usual.

Change is already included in the beta release of Firefox 89 and night assemblies. The Page Actions menu are transferred to other parts of the interface, remain available in the panel settings section and can be individually located on the panel in the form of buttons.

From other changes in the interface expected in Firefox 89, highlighting the default settings to activate the compact panel display mode (first Mozilla intended to delete this mode, but users managed to defend it), new pictograms, new design of tabs and pop-up tips, cleaning Main menu, recycled modal dialogs, pop-up to configure the opening page of the new tab.
