Proponents of Independence Scotland won the elections to the parliament of the region. However, according to preliminary estimates, they will not have two votes to form a parliamentary counting. This is reported by “BBC.”
The leader of the Scottish National Party and the first Minister of the Region of Nikola Sterdzhen called this victory “outstanding”. She stated that while the country’s priority is a fight against a pandemic. Nevertheless, Sterder promised to hold a referendum on the independence of Scotland shortly after the end of the crisis. According to her, Prime Minister British Boris Johnson and other opponents of voting there are no democratic grounds for attempts to block a referendum.
