The United States does not want to introduce new sanctions against Russia, but reserve the right to it if such a step is justified. This was stated by the spokesman for the White House of Jen Psaki, writes TASS.
“When we announced our sanctions [in April], we used the maximum space for the maneuver, so that it was able to take additional [restrictive] measures if their [Russia] action will become the basis for this,” she said.
On April 27, it became known that the United States was prepared to introduce sanctions against Russia. According to the representative of the American Administration of High Rank, Washington will make Moscow pay for “unacceptable actions.”
