The United States allows you to return Washington and Tehran to comply with the joint comprehensive action plan (IRPD) on the Iranian nuclear program already in the next meeting in Vienna. This was reported by a high-ranking representative of the State Department, TASS reports.
According to the official, “if Iran is a political decision, sincerely demonstrates the desire to return, it can be relatively quick.” At the same time, he noted that the return of Washington to comply with the agreement on a nuclear transaction depends on the political decision of Tehran, and the upcoming negotiations in Vienna will show whether Iran has refused to have a more large-scale removal of sanctions from their “unrealistic requirements”, rather than this is provided for by the terms of the transaction.
Earlier it was reported on Washington’s readiness to remove some sanctions against Tehran to force Iran to return to the joint comprehensive action plan for its nuclear program. A spokesman for the White House Jen Psaka called the “encouraging” discussion on the fate of the Iranian nuclear transaction.
Iran’s CFD contract was concluded in the summer of 2015 between Tehran and six intermediary countries. Later, Iran was caught in gross violations of agreements. In early May 2018, the United States announced a unilateral exit from the transaction and the resumption of anti-Iranian sanctions. Iran reported a refusal to agreements on CRPD in January 2020.
