Researcher of the Center for Pilotable Programs of TsNIIMASH (part of the state corporation “Roskosmos”) Maria Danilova held a “space” lesson for students of the initial school boarding schools for blind and visually impaired children of Korolev. Similar events Maria spends since 2016 – in April and October.
She said that in 2019, during participation in the contest “Leaders of Russia”, where one of the tasks was the fulfillment of a social project, she proposed the idea of holding “limitless opportunities” for blind and visually impaired children. Colleagues responded to the offer of Maria Danilova: helped to conduct practical creative classes and organize excursions to the Flight Management Center and Museum-Exposition Center TsNIIMASH with the ability to get acquainted with the exhibits “to the touch”, which is almost available in museums.
Last year, the boarding of the boarding school offered to create their own museum-museum dedicated to cosmic subjects. Colleagues and familiar Maria Danilova made their contribution and helped her fill a small school museum very interesting exhibits. Pupils of boarding schools also included with great interest in this process and created original crafts.
In the plans of a young scientist – to continue close cooperation with the boarding school, to implement the available ideas for the development of typhomatic materials on space topics. In addition, using 3D printing it is planned to create visual layouts.
